Her
designs
Cheryl Jacobs' love of rocks, gems, semi-precious stones
and fossils with their endless variety of colours and textures,
led her to the profession of fine jewelery artist. Canadian
born, she spent 5 years apprenticed to a goldsmith in San
Francisco, before starting her own company in 1987. Cheryl
and her husband Kent work side-by-side in their studio in
the beautiful Gulf Islands region of Canada's West Coast.
All pieces are hand-fabricated and cast in the studio using
the lost wax method. Fossils, semi-precious stones, freshwater
pearls and gems, combined with unique settings, produce endless
variations of colour, texture and form. Cheryl's talents as
a designer fit perfectly with Kent's technical skills to produce
their beautiful works of art. |
